Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:

Concierge Duties:

 

  • Greet internal and external customers, sign in visitors, and ensure a seamless check-in process.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and forward calls to the relevant team members.
  • Book and manage meeting rooms through an online system to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist with CCTV footage requests and conduct routine floor checks to ensure safety.
  • Conduct car park patrols and ensure all areas are secure.
  • Provide escorts for guests and contractors, ensuring they have appropriate access.
  • Monitor site access, ensuring unauthorized individuals do not enter.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding service delivery progress.
  • Develop strong relationships with the client and foster an excellent work culture.
  • Address client complaints, ensuring all issues are resolved and documented effectively.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery and team performance.
  • Write detailed and clear incident reports, hazard reports, and shift logs.

 

Security Officer Duties:

 

  • Conduct internal and external patrols, ensuring the safety of the premises.
  • Supervise and escort contractors/vendors, maintaining security protocols.
  • Respond to incidents including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and lockdown situations.
  • Manage locker facilities, report faults, and ensure security systems are functioning.
  • Handle investigations and spot checks, ensuring compliance with security procedures.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Security Clearance: PV or NV2 Security Clearance is a MUST!
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial or corporate setting.
  • Security License & Certification: Current ACT Security License and Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • First Aid Certification: Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Citizenship: Australian citizenship due to government clearance requirements.
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  3. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  4. Experience with security systems (e.g., Gallagher, Forcefield, Genetec, Tru Vision) is a plus.
  5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.
  6. Valid ACT Driver's License.
