Concierge Security Officer

Position Purpose
To carry out guarding duties at CBRE guard sites in accordance with SNP standing orders and site instructions, in compliance with AS4421-1996 and all relevant State and/or Federal legislation as per the following sections.

Key Responsibilities
Concierge
- Greet internal and external customers, sign in visitors
- Answer incoming calls and respond to general inquires – forward calls torelevant team members as appropriate.
- Book and manage meeting rooms through an online system
- Assist with CCTV footage requests and conduct floor checks
- Conduct car park patrols
- Provide escorts for guests and/or contractors
- Do not allow access to anyone who does not have permission to be on site
- Provide regular updates to the client on the progress of service delivery
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with CBRE and theirrepresentatives
- Create and encourage a proactive, responsive and productive work culture thatdelivers excellence in customer service
- Effectively handle complaints from clients, ensuring all issues are analysed,resolved and recorded to a mutually satisfactory outcome
- Enhance team performance by suggesting process improvements that lead toresolution of team issues
- Proactively identify and recommend on improvement of existing services or theintroduction of new services in line with the company’s objectives
- Write legible and informative incident reports, hazard reports and shift logs
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Use the client’s software applications
- Always Represent and promote the company
Qualification
Skills
Knowledge
- Award interpretation and understanding of relevant Acts & Legislation of the State or Territory in which you work
- Work Health & Safety Act of the State of Territory in which you work
- Protective Services Security Industry
- Gallagher, Forcefield, Genetec, Tru Vision (desirable)
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role(s) preferably in a commercial/corporate environment (tenant or base building)
- Experience in incident management such as fire alarm responses when activated, difficult persons, access control breaches and incidents involving emergency services
