Gatehouse Security Officer

Position Purpose

Are you a professional and experienced Security Officer ready to make a real impact? Certis Security Australia is currently seeking Gatehouse Security Officers to join our dedicated team at a key client site on the Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle movements, access control, and visitor passes
• Conduct internal and external foot patrols
• Monitor CCTV, WHS compliance, and respond to site alarms
• Issue and manage staff, contractor, and visitor access cards
• Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and security documentation
• Ensure perimeter security and respond to unauthorized access attempts
• Operate intercoms, manage traffic flow, and monitor screening areas
• Liaise with client contacts and report security risks

Qualification

• Valid QLD Security Licence
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Valid Driver’s Licence (if role requires driving)
• Risk and Assessment Qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar security role
• Proven experience in staff and performance management
• Strong client relationship management skills
