RFS Coordinator

Position Purpose

Join Certis as a Request for Service (RFS) Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of RFS activities across Terminals 1, 2 and 3 Based at Sydney Airport. Are you an organised and driven professional with a passion for operational excellence? Certis is looking for an enthusiastic RFS Coordinator to join our dynamic Aviation Security team at Sydney Airport.

This is a key operational role requiring strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure the effective coordination of RFS services and the delivery of of high-quality outcomes. you will work closely with our Performance Manager to coordinate forward planning of rosters, manage shift coverage, and support a network of trainers, Security Officers, and key customers. Your strong planning skills will ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service across our aviation security business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all RFS activities across Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
• Plan and coordinate upcoming shift workloads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly and effectively to operational issues as they arise.
• Provide timely reporting of operational matters to management on a per-shift basis.
• Support operational excellence by fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Experience

• Demonstrated operational management or coordination experience within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting abilities.
• Proven capacity to plan, prioritise, and manage competing demands.
• Ability to lead and support a team effectively under pressure.

Qualification

• Certificate 2 in Security Operations
• Red background ASIC
• NSW 1A Security licence
• NSW Senior first aid certificate
