Security Manager

Position Purpose

The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring that client contractual expectations are met and are within the guidelines of our Quality Management System. He/she will be responsible for the effective management of accounts & acquiring new business to deliver budget expectations.

  • Develop and implement workplace safety training plans that ensure that all current and future personnel are adequately trained.
  • Provide clear leadership to others at team and individual level to foster a safe WHS culture
     

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all quality procedures relating to the division
  • Assist with quality audits as requested
  • Appropriate allocation and coordination of resources to maintain optimalefficiency
  • Assist with quality audits as requested.
  • Attend regular client meetings (Guarding) as set out contractually or asdirected and ensure prompt corrective response to client requests
  • Carry out customer satisfaction survey
  • Documentation to be completed accurately and within specified timings (RFS,Account Application, Service Agreement etc.)
  • Ensure all documents are quality endorsed and current
  • Ensure procedures are in place to manage onsite service quality provision
  • Ensure the currency and accuracy of Quality Manuals & Site Standing Ordersare maintained
  • Ensure workforce is compliant
  • Manage designated accounts to budget and agreed pricing and margincriteria.
  • Oversee recruitment programs and staff training initiatives.
  • Preparation, completion and implementation of site standing orders (SSO)and Safe Work Method & Environmental Statement (SWMES) at all sites thatare managed within your portfolio within 30 days of contract commencement
  • Promptly attend to matters or directives raised by our Guarding, and anyother clients and ensure timely follow
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting
  • Support the development of Manpower Services Infrastructure businessopportunities when required – Negotiation & quotation for Guard Services.
  • Where directed, prepare rosters for guarding staff
  • Where required prepare and present Security briefs to Management and staffwith regards to Guarding Clients.
  • Work with designated clients to understand their Security requirements anddevelop and deliver service provision efficiencies.

Qualification

Current 1AD Security Licence – Essential

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate – Essential
  • Current Drivers Licence – Essential
  • Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management – Essential
  • Management qualifications – Desirable

Knowledge

Experience

  • Managing efficient service delivery and contractual compliance
  • Previous business to business sales experience
  • Experience with events patrols and site security
  • Leading a dynamic workforce and corporate teams
  • 5 years’ experience with patrols and/ or site security – highly desirable
