This is a permanent full-time position offering stability, team support, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Keeping campus operations smooth and secure through:

 

  • Managing vehicle leasing, visitor passes, and access control

  • Conducting proactive internal and external patrols

  • Monitoring CCTV, WHS compliance, and alarm responses

  • Issuing and maintaining staff, contractor, and visitor access cards

  • Responding to perimeter breaches or unauthorized access attempts

  • Operating intercom systems and overseeing traffic and screening areas

  • Liaising with university stakeholders and reporting potential risks

  • Maintaining accurate logs, reports, and security documentation

Qualification

  • A valid QLD Security Licence

  • A current Senior First Aid Certificate

  • Working with Children Check ( or willingness to obtain).

  • CCTV monitoring experience (highly regarded)

  • Strong communication and observation skills

  • A calm, professional approach to every situation
