Position Purpose

Certis Security Australia is seeking a talented and analytical Senior Management Accountant to support our Aviation Business stream, based in Sydney, to lead pricing and financial modelling initiatives and support key aviation projects.  As the Senior Management Accountant, you’ll be instrumental in developing tender pricing models, analysing complex data sets, and supporting the Aviation Finance team across key project deliverables. You’ll collaborate with commercial and operational leaders to deliver financial insights, assess new business opportunities, and drive profitable growth.

About You

  • CPA, CA or equivalent qualification – essential
  • Advanced MS Excel and intermediate MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen
  • Proven experience in financial modelling and pricing
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles within medium to large organisations
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and proactive

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate and strategic tender pricing models
  • Analyse financial and non-financial data to support decision-making
  • Assess financial viability of new business opportunities
  • Build financial models to evaluate performance, EBAs, and risk
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to identify growth opportunities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and fee adjustment processes
  • Ensure compliance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members
  • Maintain effective communication across finance and operational teams
