Position Purpose
As Terminal Security Manager – Administration Support, this role will provide essential administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth daily operations across Sydney’s iconic cruise & maritime terminals. This includes preparing reports, updating training systems, and assisting with planning and rostering, all meeting a high standard of regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Governance Preparation: Experienced in compiling reports, coordinating evidence, and preparing audit-ready documents
- Training Logistics: Skilled in planning and coordinating staff attendance at mandatory courses
- Quality Assurance & Audit: Ability to identify gaps, validate data, and provide assurance in compliance-heavy settings
- Operational Agility: Comfortable stepping into a frontline supervisory role when rostered
- Communication & Team Support: Strong written and verbal communicator with a collaborative working style
- Record Keeping & Systems Management: Diligent in updating compliance, rostering, and training records in enterprise systems
Qualification
- Current 1AC Security Licence
- Current First Aid including CPR
- Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Screening Officers) or equivalent
- CISC Screening Auditor accreditation (or eligible with completion required within 6 months)
- Experience leading regulated screening teams in maritime, aviation, or high-risk environments
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills in a compliance environme
