Position Purpose
Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences? As a Customer Service Officer, your mission is to ensure every attendee leaves with a smile!
You'll be the go-to person for all things customer-related, from answering inquiries to escalating issues on the spot. Your role is pivotal in making each event a resounding success through stellar communication, quick problem-solving and seamless teamwork. Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept
- Be the Face of Excellence: Greet and assist event attendees with a warm and professional demeanour.
- Resolve with Precision: Address and resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate Seamlessly: Support the planning and execution of events, ensuring all customer-related aspects run smoothly.
- Gather Insights: Collect and analyse customer feedback to enhance future events.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate documentation of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with event coordinators and team members to deliver outstanding events.
Skills
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Customer Focus: A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Role Requirements
- You must be available on weekends and weeknights.
- Long periods of standing and walking are required so you must have the physical ability for this.
Desirable
- Current RSA
- Current drivers licence is beneficial but not essential, otherwise you need to be able to get to various locations as required.
