Are you a licensed Security Officer with a passion for safety and compliance? Certis Security Australia is currently inviting Expressions of Interest for upcoming Security Gatehouse Officer opportunities across Queensland.

This is a casual position suited to proactive, professional, and detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a structured and safety-focused environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control access  (vehicles and personnel)

  • Verify contractor induction cards

  • Maintain records: sign-in/out logs, incident reports, and daily communication diaries

  • Conduct regular patrols across gates, buildings, and site perimeters

  • Monitor CCTV, fire and access control systems; respond to alarms and onsite incidents

  • Support emergency situations, including First Aid response when required

  • Perform Gatehouse duties including visitor management and surveillance support

  • Proactively prevent and report suspicious or unsafe activities

Qualification

  • Current QLD Security Licence including Crowd Control and Unarmed.
  • First Aid Certificate including current CPR
  • Valid Driver’s Licence

 

You will also have either:

  • Current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or
  • Current NV1 security clearance
