Position Purpose

Join Certis Australia as a Asset Protection Security Officer!

You will be responsible for monitoring and Patroling the Brisbane Racing Club sites to ensure safety and integrity. This role plays a critical part in incident response, system oversight, and communication with on-site personnel, contributing to a safe and secure environment.

 

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking 2 experienced and reliable security officers:

  • 1x  Permament Full Time Role - 42hrs week which includes 2hrs of overtime

  • 1x Permament Part Time Role  - 17hrs per week.

Hours of Operation are between Sunday to Friday 6:00pm - 2:00am and Saturdays 6:00pm to 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CCTV

  • Responding to alarm activations in accordance with a specified time 

  • Conduct lockups

  • Perimeter checks

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports

  • Investigate disturbances on site

  • Navigating between sites in a timely manner

Qualification

Mandatory

  • QLD Security license (Unarmed and Monitoring) 
  • Current First aid with CPR
  • Unlimited working rights
  • Drivers Licence

 

Desirable

  • Possess a high level of motivation, self discipline and conduct
  • CCTV Experience
