Security Officer - Level 2

Position Purpose

Certis is currently seeking a Security officer - Relief/Various, to service fixed and various positions to provide operational support to the operations management team. 

• Static, gatehouse, retail and static positions available. 
• Flexible rostering 
• Variety of shifts and hours available, plus the opportunity for overtime  
• Continued training and support

Key Responsibilities

• Clear and effective communication skills 
• Works effectively with client and key stake holders 
• Provide a customer service approach to conflict resolution 
• Demonstrated Knowledge of emergency response procedures 
• Responds promptly to incidents and follows correct reporting and escalation procedures 
• Works effectively with in a team environment

Qualification

Mandatory

• 1 Years experience as a Security officer (desirable but not essential)
• 24x7 availability
• Current QLD Security License (essential)
• First Aid Certificate (essential)
• Knowledge of Security Systems and Alarm response
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transport to provide operational support

Desirable

• Driver's license
• CPR
• Working with children's 
• Base line clearance
• MSIC

Experience

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
