Security Officer - TGE Larapinta

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time Level 3 Security Officer position based in Larapinta, working on a 4-on / 4-off rotating roster:

• 2 day shifts: 06:00 – 18:00

• 2 night shifts: 18:00 – 06:00

Your role is central to maintaining safety, smooth site operations, and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Visitor passes, and access control
• Monitoring CCTV, WHS compliance, and alarm responses
• Issuing and maintaining staff, contractor, and visitor access cards
• Responding to perimeter breaches or unauthorized access attempts
• Operating intercom systems and overseeing traffic and screening areas
• Liaising with stakeholders and reporting potential risks
• Maintaining accurate logs, reports, and security documentation

Qualification

• A valid QLD Security Licence including Unarmed and Monitoring

• A current First Aid Certificate with CPR

• CCTV monitoring experience (highly regarded)

• Strong communication and observation skills

• A calm, professional approach to every situation
