Position Purpose
Working as an integral member of the Aviation Division and Human Resources team, the purpose of this position is to take responsibility for managing generalist HR activities, projects and employee/industrial relations practices that affect both the organisation and its employees. The position is also extensively involved in partnering with operational managers to provide advice and interpretation FW Act, contracts of employment, workplace agreements, workplace investigations, dispute resolution and terminations of employment.
This position is based at Sydney Airport and will ensure that matters relating to the Sydney Airport Corporation Limited contract are prioritised over other ports. This position will liaise with other Managers responsible for people practices at other ports managed by Certis to ensure a consistent people strategy is applied throughout the aviation division.

Qualification
Mandatory
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Business Administration.

Knowledge
- Working knowledge of current workplace legislation and policy.
- Understanding of Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Good understanding of contemporary Human Resource Management practices.
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in industrial relations and ability to work in a multi-site environment
