Position Purpose
Join Certis Australia as Cargo Screener, This is a casual role to support Certis with Cargo Screening Operations across several sites.
The position requires the officer to perform Cargo Screening on freight by following the relevant SOP’s and using the screening equipment provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Cargo Freight Screening
- Operation of Cargo Screening Equipment including X-ray and ETD
- Recoding screening information accurately
- Shifts will be varied across a 7 day roster
- shift ranging from 4 to 12 hours
- Screening of Cargo
- Correct use of screening equipment
- Configuration of screening equipment
- Recording of screening information
- Understanding of SOP’s and EACE notice
- Working in a small team

Qualification
Mandatory qualifications may include:
- Security License
- Previous Cargo or passenger screening experience
Desirable qualifications and experiences may include:
- Experience with X-ray and screening equipment
- Ability to work unsupervised

Knowledge
- Knowledge of Cargo Screening Equipment and use
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for screening of goods
