Duties & Responsibilities
• Overall in charge of financial accounting and reporting function of 6 entities
• Ensure timely completion of accounting activities for monthly closing in SAP
• Review, analyse and check P&L & Balance Sheet input by Shared Services Centre
• Maintenance of financial records including computation of Financial Reporting System 115, Financial Reporting System 116, preparation of monthly and yearly tax computation including deferred tax and GST reporting
• Preparation of reporting pack to Temasek
• Preparation and review of reconciliation statements and balance sheet schedules
• Preparation of Financial Statement and liaise with external auditors on annual statutory auditing and tax matters
• Strengthen current internal controls and improve Finance processes and systems
• Implement continuous improvements to month end closing process and financial system and continuous automation of financial reports
• Keep abreast and ensure compliance of accounting standards and tax regulations
• Support management reporting requirements to government authorities and other stakeholders
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned
Skills & Experience
• Accounting Degree / ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling full set of accounts, GST, and corporate tax & deferred tax computation.
• Experience handling Financial Reporting System 116 accounting is a plus.
• Strong in handling excel spreadsheets.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to commit to long working hours during quarterly and year-end peak periods, and when there are ad-hoc requests with tight deadlines.
• Able to handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
