Duties & Responsibilities
Role Overview:
The WSH Officer ensures the alignment of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies with business operations. The role involves developing and enforcing WSH management systems, promoting a safety-first culture, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations across project sites. The WSH Officer also collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain a safe work environment.
1. Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify and manage WSH risks through analysis of operational processes and incidents.
- Implement and maintain WSH management systems to promote safety.
- Conduct internal and external audits, inspect sites, and ensure contractor compliance.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, providing timely reports on findings.
2. Training & Awareness:
- Conduct safety training and create educational materials to raise WSH awareness.
- Collaborate with corporate stakeholders to drive employee engagement in WSH initiatives.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work with WSH corporate teams to develop and enhance Certis Land Security's (CLS) WSH system.
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure consistent WSH enforcement.
4. Reporting & Documentation:
- Report on safety issues, provide status updates, and maintain regulatory documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Licensed Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH experience.
- Proficient in data analysis, able to present key findings effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
