Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Build new security engineering capabilities and enhance existing technologies in line with industry best practices.
  • Deliver new security solutions, manage migrations, and ensure timely renewals.
  • Maintain and update security platforms, including effective capacity planning.
  • Develop and update playbooks as needed.
  • Manage project rollouts, document processes, and lead deployments.
  • Work closely with IT, network, and application teams for successful rollouts.
  • Support vulnerability management and threat activities.
  • Participate in annual audits, incident response drills, and BCP exercises.
  • Review and follow up on threat intelligence from internal and external sources.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in engineering or operations.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering and best practices.
  • Experience with SWG, WAF, Threat Intelligence Solutions, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, etc. is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure environments is preferred.
  • Strong team player and collaborator with a commitment to team success.
  • Passionate, committed to excellence, and highly motivated.
  • CISSP and AWS Cloud certifications are an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
