Duties & Responsibilities

As Digital Governance Manager, you will lead the establishment and execution of Certis’ digital governance framework. You will ensure that digital platforms, systems, and technology initiatives operate within clear governance, risk, and compliance guardrails—enabling innovation while maintaining control, trust, and regulatory alignment.

 

Responsibilities

Digital Governance Strategy & Operating Model

  • Define, implement, and continuously enhance an enterprise-wide digital governance framework aligned with Certis’ digital and technology strategy.
  • Establish governance models covering digital platforms, systems, automation, and emerging technologies across their full lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain digital governance policies, standards, and operating procedures to ensure consistency, accountability, and control.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on digital governance risks, trade-offs, and decision-making for technology and transformation initiatives.

Digital Controls, Risk & Assurance

  • Define and oversee governance controls for digital platforms and systems to manage operational, technology, and compliance risks.
  • Embed governance and risk controls into digital solution design, delivery, and operational processes (“governance by design”).
  • Partner with IT, security, risk, and business teams to identify, assess, and mitigate digital risks proactively.
  • Monitor governance effectiveness and provide regular reporting on digital risk, compliance, and control maturity.

Digital Platform & Lifecycle Governance

  • Establish governance standards for the design, implementation, operation, and retirement of digital platforms and systems.
  • Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and decision rights for digital assets and technology platforms.
  • Oversee documentation, architectural alignment, and control requirements for key digital initiatives.
  • Support governance for emerging technologies such as automation, AI-enabled systems, and smart platforms, ensuring responsible and compliant adoption.

Security, Privacy & Regulatory Compliance

  • Work closely with security, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure digital governance aligns with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place to support information security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across digital platforms.
  • Lead or support digital governance reviews, audits, and regulatory engagements, tracking remediation actions where required.
  • Stay informed of evolving regulatory and technology risk landscapes and assess their impact on digital governance practices.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement

  • Partner with business units, IT, and digital teams to understand digital priorities, use cases, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Act as a bridge between business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to enable practical and value-driven governance outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training, communications, and awareness initiatives to embed digital governance practices across the organization.
  • Champion a strong digital governance culture that balances innovation, accountability, and risk management.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in digital governance, technology risk, IT governance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital operating models, technology governance frameworks, and system lifecycle management.
  • Experience governing enterprise digital platforms, systems, and large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Sound knowledge of information security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive governance outcomes in complex, transformation-led environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, with a pragmatic and business-oriented mindset.
