Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all weapon safety drills for assigned firers are executed in accordance with established procedures
  • Comply with range conduct procedures and Range Standing Orders
  • Comply with all security procedures
  • Ensure all ranges are conducted in accordance with established procedures, including:
    • Conducting break‑arm checks upon arrival of firers
    • Assisting firers with in‑processing
    • Assisting the Chief Safety Officer in the conduct of Just‑in‑Time (JIT) briefings
    • Performing Detailing In‑Charge (IC) duties
    • Performing After Action Review (AAR) In‑Charge (IC) duties
  • Ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the range
  • Ensure firers complete the soldier satisfaction survey
  • Adopt and practise a strong safety culture at MMRC
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Skills & Experience

  • Military personnel (active or retired) are welcome to apply
  • Proven experience in military weapons technical handling, Authorised Operating Materials (AOM), and military safety management is required
  • Possess effective communication skills
  • Candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent role or contract renewal, subject to individual performance and overall company performance
  • Work location: Multi Mission Range Complex (MMRC)
