Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide advisory support to Business Heads on all HR matters.
- Identify HR gaps and proactively recommend solutions aligned with organisational processes and goals.
- Conduct strategic HR planning to address complex business and operational requirements, ensuring alignment with overall organisational strategy.
- Analyse manpower trends to determine labour demands, facilitating proactive workforce planning and resource optimisation.
- Partner with the Compensation team to facilitate performance appraisal and salary review cycles, ensuring fair and effective performance management practices.
- Collaborate closely with Business Heads and the People Development team on workforce and succession planning to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Lead in resolving complex employee relations issues and addressing grievances to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Evaluate and recommend training programmes based on team and individual needs, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance skill sets and capabilities.
- Ensure HR policies comply with Singapore labour laws and regulations, staying abreast of changes and recommending necessary adjustments.
- Represent GHR in projects and user acceptance testing, as required.
- Play an active role in shaping and executing talent acquisition strategies and efforts.
- Support and promote employee experience initiatives and campaigns.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Degree with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex HR issues and propose effective solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in documentation and decision-making.
- Proficient in data storytelling (tools and techniques) to present HR insights effectively.
- Methodical and thorough approach to work, ensuring quality execution and sound problem-solving.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
