Duties & Responsibilities
• Own and manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, qualification, submission, and post-bid review.
• Lead the bid process for robotics projects, delivering high-quality proposals on time that meet client expectations and internal standards.
• Analyse tender documents to identify key requirements, risks, and win strategies.
• Coordinate inputs from Sales, Product, Engineering, Deployment, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to produce cohesive submissions.
• Facilitate bid reviews, approvals, and governance processes to align with business objectives and risk thresholds.
• Monitor bid performance, including profitability, cash flow, and risk exposure, and implement mitigation plans where necessary.
• Track, analyse, and report bid outcomes to drive continuous improvement in win rates.
• Maintain and continuously enhance bid content libraries, templates, and best practices.
Technical, Commercial & Go-To-Market Enablement
• Translate client needs into technical and commercial bid components that clearly articulate operational and business value.
• Promote Certis’ robotics portfolio—including autonomous patrol robots, delivery bots, quadrupeds, and AI-enabled systems—through strong value propositions.
• Develop compelling tender presentations and go-to-market decks tailored to client needs and aligned with strategic positioning.
• Create high-impact proposal content, whitepapers, and solution narratives that differentiate Certis in competitive bids.
• Influence upcoming RFPs to align with Certis’ strengths, service capabilities, and differentiators.
Client Engagement & Representation
• Act as a key client-facing representative throughout the bid and pre-sales process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to enhance win probability.
• Conduct product and solution demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Lead and support client presentations, workshops, roadshows, and industry events.
• Represent Certis at external engagements, articulating solutions with clarity and credibility.
Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Robotics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in bid management, proposal development, technical sales, or solutioning—preferably in robotics, automation, smart systems, or emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin; Mandarin is a must to effectively liaise with China-based vendors.
• Proven track record of managing and winning complex enterprise or government tenders.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations.
• Experience in client-facing roles, including delivering presentations, conducting demos, and managing stakeholder engagements.
• Strong understanding of strategic sales processes and ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Experience working across regions and cultures, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
