Duties & Responsibilities

•    Preparation of statutory consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS and ensuring the accounts are prepared accurately and timely for reporting to the top management and stakeholders
•    Preparation of quarterly and yearly reporting package to shareholder
•    Be part of the key liaison with the external and internal auditors and manage audit accordingly
•    As a member of the Group accounting centre of excellence team, assist to roll out accounting guidance to financial accounting teams in HQ and overseas markets.
•    Business partner the management accounting / FP&A team on accounting matters.
•    Lead in various group level initiatives:
    Ad-hoc review on controls to ensure that they are adequate and in compliance with related policies
    Review and control of balance sheet accounts;
    Align and update the Group’s accounting policies, ensuring compliance with SFRS and any new accounting standards.
•    Drive continuous improvements in processes, enhance existing consolidation and reporting related processes to improve the quality of financial reporting
•    Any ad-hoc assignments and projects as and when required

Skills & Experience

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with good knowledge in FRS and preferably CPA qualified
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience, with at least 3 years hands-on experience in Consolidation
•    Big 4 exposure is a plus
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Skills
•    SAP FICO and BPC knowledge is preferable
•    Prior Experience in BPC implementation is an advantage
•    Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Meticulous, well organized, analytical individual with positive working attitude
•    Highly-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently and a good team player
