Duties & Responsibilities

As the largest advanced security service provider in Asia, Certis Group continually develops and adopts a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies to improve the effectiveness of our security services, leveraging our unique Ops-Tech expertise.

As a Programme Manager, your primary responsibility is to support business units to make use of technology to reduce cost, increase profitability, improve efficiency and streamline processes.  

You should be technically inclined and be the bridge between the application development teams, the IT infrastructure teams as well as the operations users, facilitating the coordination and collaboration between these parties to ensure the successful delivery of BU projects

  • Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the application software and solutioning - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the programme, and outwardly with the software vendor. 
  • Manage all aspects of projects and programmes assigned and ensure application software and solutions are delivered within scope, budge, schedule, and of good quality.
  • Manage projects and programmes holistically, including their inter-dependencies and interfaces, to realise the intended benefits and value. 
  • Proactive in managing project and its operational risks and issues, and willing to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement.
  • Work in partnership with BUs to analyse business requirements and challenges to transform them into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Work in collaboration with vendors to conceptualise, design, develop, test, and deliver application software and solutions that are effective in addressing business needs, secure-by-design and compliant with standards and industry best practices.
  • Perform all aspects of vendor management, including the sourcing, contract administration, procurement, and payment matters.
  • Support Go-Live activities including the execution of deployment plans and checklists.
  • Manage AWS Cloud infrastructure and provide operational support for BU applications.
  • Ensure all documentation and knowledgebase of BU applications are kept up to date.
  • Contribute and provide technical support and expertise on projects, programmes, and other technical matter when consulted.
  • All other duties assigned by your reporting officer.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in application development. 
  • with project management methodology and lifecycle would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge and hands on experience in one or more IT technical domains – coding, database, network, system administration, cybersecurity, hardware, Cloud computing. 
  • Familiarity with web and mobile programming and markup languages would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge and hands on experience in Cloud administration with AWS/Azure.
  • Good troubleshooting skills in diagnosing technical issues and ability to offer advisories and support.
  • Good communication skills and positive working attitude.
  • Embrace continuous learning to deepen knowledge and skills, and willing to stay current with emerging and new technology.
