Duties & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The Storeman / Logistics Officer is responsible for managing inventory, tracking stock levels, and ensuring timely distribution of materials to support operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and store materials in designated locations.
- Issue materials and equipment based on project needs.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of items.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for stock replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum GCE ‘N’/’O’ Level or equivalent.
- Experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of stock control systems and ERP software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle physical work and operate material handling equipment.
