Duties & Responsibilities
- Involve in the project or managed services related with IT infrastructure and data centre whenever required.
- Perform Installation, Implementation, Configuration and testing of system/storage equipment & setup
- Perform system health check, performance tuning, OS hardening, patching and updating on servers/VM
- Plan for migration, document and execute the migration plan
- Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) remediation.
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for system incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and compliance with SLA requirements.
- Develop implementation plan, migration plan and acceptance test plan for the project.
- Conduct acceptance test with users and address the testing findings/issues
- Provide system architecture design and planning for new IT infrastructure deployments in both hosted and cloud environments
- Work closely with Project Managers in planning the implementation tasks
- Develop As-built documentation for handover
Skills & Experience
- Qualification & experience: Diploma in IT/Computer Science with ~3 years in IT, including at least 2 years in systems and security.
- Core technical skills: Hands‑on with Windows Server and/or Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), system monitoring tools, and basic networking (IP/TCP).
- Security exposure: Knowledge of systems security, with hands‑on experience in OS hardening, patching, updates, and antivirus preferred.
- Work environment & mindset: Comfortable working independently and in teams, detail‑oriented, good documentation habits, and willing to support on‑call/after‑hours when needed.
- Nice‑to‑haves: Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, ITIL, cloud), experience with regulated/audit environments, security systems/OT, or 24×7 mission‑critical operations.
